Meet and Greet in Greece: OKM RoadShow live
On September 25, the team of K. VARDAKA Metal Detectors invited treasure hunters, metal detectorists and people interested in detection technology to the OKM Roadshow. The weather could not have been more perfect, so more than 200 interested people followed the invitation. Among the visitors were the heads of the three main metal detecting forums in Greece: Anna, Vaggelis and Grigoris. Everyone was invited to experience the detectors live and to win original OKM merchandise and vouchers in a lottery.
Andreas Krauss, inventor and founder of OKM Germany, and OKM expert Ronald Jung supported the team on site with the most popular OKM detectors. Thus, visitors had the perfect opportunity to ask their questions about treasure hunting, treasure finds, current projects and the technology of OKM detectors. The most striking question was the one about the depth range, since OKM detectors and 3D ground scanners locate objects and structures much deeper than common detectors.
The conditions which determine the measuring depths of up to 25 m (82 ft) were explained in numerous talks: Among other factors, it is the size of the target object and the soil conditions that are decisive for the measuring depth. This was demonstrated live with the popular 3D ground scanners Fusion Light, Rover C4 and Rover UC.
For treasure hunting beginners and newcomers, the Pulse Nova was of great interest. This pulse induction metal detector is operated completely intuitively and provides direct acoustic feedback. The OKM experts also presented the popular long range gold detector Bionic X4.
Many thanks to all for your visit. K. VARDAKA Metal Detectors and OKM Germany are looking forward to seeing you again soon!
