OKM’s RoadShow Unites Technology and Community

From June 2nd to 4th, OKM Americas hosted an exclusive Dealer Summit and RoadShow event at its showroom in Pineville, North Carolina. A special highlight was the presence of Stephan Grund, CEO of OKM Detectors, and Frank Casser, one of OKM’s leading detection experts from Germany, who both traveled to the U.S. to personally support the event and engage with attendees on the latest innovations and field applications.

The event brought together passionate treasure hunters, seasoned detection professionals, and official OKM partners from across the Americas. Among the attending companies were Detector Power, Destination Gold Detectors, My Surveying Direct, iGeo, and Treasure Coast Detectors. Their visit showed how strong OKM’s network is in America and added value to the event through their ideas, market feedback, and hands-on use of OKM technology. Attendees came to deepen their knowledge and gain hands-on experience with OKM’s advanced technology, and the atmosphere was one of curiosity, excitement, and mutual learning.

The OKM team and the distributors

The main focus of this event was to showcase the powerful capabilities of OKM’s advanced 3D ground scanners and metal detectors. During several in-depth sessions, participants explored detectors such as the OKM eXp 5500 Professional, OKM Rover C4, and OKM Gepard GPR 3D. A special highlight was the first introduction of OKM’s upcoming premium ground scanner. Scheduled to launch in the coming months, the detector offered participants an exciting sneak peek into the future of high-performance ground exploration.

Experience Meets Expertise: Learning by Doing with OKM

Frank's presentation
Frank Casser demonstrates the Mineral Scan mode and explains how to interpret scan results.

Each guest was invited to perform real-time ground scans. Then, the scanned data was reviewed and interpreted using Visualizer 3D Studio. Participants could see how subsurface anomalies were transformed into high-resolution 3D models. This hands-on process led to in-depth technical discussions, especially concerning topics like ground penetrating radar and magnetic fields.

The clarity and precision of the scans, particularly those performed with the eXp 5500, made a strong impression on everyone. It became clear that OKM’s innovations are not only about hardware - they're also about fostering a deeper, more intuitive understanding of what lies beneath the surface. The OKM RoadShow offered technical training and a valuable opportunity for direct interaction between OKM experts and users. Once again, the event proved that the best way to understand the depth, precision, and potential of OKM technology is to experience it live.
